High-performance MC head amp circuit employing ANCC
• Equivalent input noise voltage at MC: -156dBV (C-47: -155dBV)
⇒ Newly developed Noise and distortion canceling circuit, improved from previous
ANCC
• MC head amp gain is 50dB
• New structure with slits in the inner plate of the top panel to suppress hum noise

60 ohm (MC) added to input load impedance
• Selectable from 10/ 30/ 60/ 100/ 200/ 300/ lkD at MC
⇒ Compatible with low-impedance MC cartridges

Strong power supply circuit
• Newly designed low-noise, high-regulation power supply circuit
• Custom power transformer, Filtering capacitor

Fully balanced and mono-block construction
• Independent MC/MM balanced head amp with dedicated design
• Low noise JFETs for the MM head amp input stage, with a gain of 20dB
• RIAA equalizer/amplifier is in a fully balanced configuration for input and output

Completely new symmetrical design for ease of operation
• Input selector on the left and load impedance selector on the right
⇒ unification of pre-amplifier controls
• Gold-plated ring around the selectors
• Original selector mechanism with high rigidity and smooth feel.
